Welcome to the website of the Virtual Institute for Quantum Technologies. This website aims to provide an overview of the activities and outputs of ongoing research as well as provide details about events happening in Quantum Community Network in Ireland.
Virtual Institute for Quantum Technologies builds on the previous Dublin Area Quantum Information Science and Technology Group DAQIST which was founded by Dr. Slingerland and Dr. Vala from Maynooth University in 2008. The tremendous effort of a number of people, including graduate students and postdoctoral fellows, who have contributed to the birth and growth of DAQIST is very much appreciated.
