Programming Quantum Platforms at ICHEC
Presently, the roadmaps for developing quantum platforms at national and regional levels are being drawn. These efforts are based on the development of a variety of quantum platforms (both hardware and software simulated ones) by different enterprise and academic players. In this setting, ICHEC, the national HPC centre in Ireland, recognises the importance for building expertise in and enriching the quantum programming ecosystem. This talk will present an overview of ICHEC’s vision and efforts to achieve this, and outline two projects that are being executed as a part of their initial efforts.
