Supersymmetry on the Lattice

The supersymmetric (SUSY) lattice models considered feature strongly interacting fermions on a lattice with interactions tuned to a point where the states exhibit SUSY. The properties of these models are drastically different depending on the lattice used. Among the many phases believed to exist are critical, ``super-frustrated'' and ``super-topological'' phases. The SUSY allows for many nice analytical results regarding the ground state degeneracy for some lattices and can also help probe the ground state structure in certain cases. After introducing the SUSY lattice models, results of calculations for the SUSY chain, staggered SUSY chain and square octagon SUSY models are presented.
